he Music of Good Sense – Pilot Project

Purpose: To spread the full definition of Good Sense that I put together from internet:
“Making judgments or taking actions that lead to greater survival (in terms of lifestyle and abundance) for the greatest number of people, animals, plants, and the environment in general—without forgetting the spiritual side of life. It is usually simple and long-lasting.”

One way to achieve this goal is by inspiring artists—who, through their high-frequency communication (art), have the power to influence many people.
For now, we are launching a music project.

🎤 SONG CONTEST “SING GOOD SENSE”

Proposal rules

Pilot Project

📌 GOAL

The “Sing Good Sense” contest was created to reward music that speaks to people using simple, deep, and meaningful words full of good sense.
We will accept lyrics that align with the full definition put together by Fabrizio Ciancio:

“Making judgments or taking actions that result in greater survival (as an improvement of lifestyle and abundance) for the greatest number of people, plants, animals, and the environment in general—without forgetting the spiritual side of life. A good sense action is simple and meant to last as long as possible.”

Does your song inspire listeners to use or apply this extended version of Good Sense?

The top 3 winners will become official finalists in the Festival of Naples—a legendary stage of Italian singer-songwriter music.

👥 WHO CAN PARTICIPATE

  • Solo singers, duos, or groups (max 5 people)
  • No minimum age (minors need parental permission)
  • Open to both emerging and professional artists
  • No record label required
  • Songs can be in any language
  • No discrimination based on gender, race, religion, or citizenship

🎶 SONG THEME

The song must be original and inspired by the extended definition of Good Sense:

“Making judgments or taking actions that result in greater survival (as an improvement of lifestyle and abundance) for the greatest number of people, plants, animals, and the environment in general—without forgetting the spiritual side of life. A good sense action is simple and meant to last as long as possible.”

Not allowed:
❌ Controversial, violent, or vulgar songs
❌ Love songs or songs centered on religion
❌ Ideological or political songs

📝 HOW TO REGISTER

  • Fill out the online form (available on the official website)
  • Upload a video or audio file (max 5 minutes) with your song
  • Include the full lyrics and a short personal introduction (max 1000 characters)
  • Pay a €50 entry fee per song to help cover technical expenses
  • Each participant will receive a personalized “Way to Happiness” booklet made just for this event

🧑‍⚖️ JUDGING & VOTING

  • An expert jury of musicians and writers will handle the first selection
  • The top 10 entries will be published online
  • The top 3 artists will be interviewed by Italian Radio of Good Sense
  • Public voting allowed (one vote per email address)
  • Jury votes count for 70%, public votes for 30%
  • The lyrics will be the main criteria for evaluation

🏆 THE PRIZE

The top 3 winners will receive invitations to perform live at the Festival of Naples.
The 1st place winner will also receive:

  • A full social and media promotion package
  • A professionally produced and digitally distributed version of their song

Looking for sponsors—can you help?
We offer a 10% commission on sponsor contributions.

50% of all sponsor funds will be shared among the top 5 finalists:

  • 40% to the 1st place
  • 30% to the 2nd place
  • 20% to the 3rd place
  • 5% to the 4th place
  • 5% to the 5th place

For example, let’s say we receive $50,000 in donations: $25,000 for the club organization and $25,000 for the prizes.
1st place: $10,000
2nd place: $7,500
3rd place: $5,000
4th and 5th place: $1,250 each

📜 ADDITIONAL RULES

  • Each participant can submit up to 5 original songs
  • Songs must be original—no plagiarism
  • AI-generated songs are allowed, but this must be declared at registration and kept secret until the final event
  • Authors retain full rights, but the organization can publish and promote the song
  • We reserve the right to disqualify inappropriate content
  • Finalists must be present in Naples for the live finale or face disqualification
